Who does Morgan see?

Most children’s appointments at the clinic are with Morgan. Morgan sees people with gut concerns such as bloating, IBS and food intolerances; women with hormonal and cycle concerns, PMS, PMOS (previously called PCOS), endometriosis and perimenopause; couples preparing for pregnancy; women through pregnancy and after birth; and children of all ages, from babies and toddlers to teenagers, for gut, immune, skin, sleep and behaviour concerns.

Morgan doesn’t diagnose or treat these conditions; that stays with your doctor. Her part is the nutritional, herbal and lifestyle work that sits alongside their care.

What happens in a first appointment with Morgan?

Expect a full hour, and a conversation rather than a checklist. Morgan takes the whole history, including what you have already tried and what your GP has found, and explains what she thinks is going on before she suggests anything. You leave with a written plan you can actually follow, and the reasoning behind each step.

How does a child’s appointment with Morgan run?

A parent or carer comes in with the child and talks with Morgan; how much the child takes part depends on their age. Morgan takes a full history from you both, looks at diet, sleep, digestion and any reports you bring, and there is nothing invasive in the room. Babies and toddlers are seen with a parent, and the plan is built around what a family can realistically do.

Does Morgan use functional testing?

Only when it would change the plan. For women’s health that may be a functional hormone panel read with any blood tests you already have; for children it may be nutritional screening or food intolerance testing. Morgan explains what each test can and can’t tell you before you decide, and the laboratory bills you directly.

All testing methods

Does Morgan work alongside my GP, midwife or paediatrician?

Yes, and she prefers to. Morgan reads any pathology you bring alongside functional testing, works with midwives and obstetric teams through pregnancy, and alongside a paediatrician where a child has an assessment under way.
